As of June 17, 2010, ethnic rioting in Kyrgyzstan has led to the deaths of hundreds of Uzbeks (who are a minority in that nation), forcing thousands more to become refugees as they flee this small Central Asian country for their lives.
This is a humanitarian outrage, and if you wish to express your solidarity with the persecuted Uzbeks - as well as your condemnation for the Kyrgyz responsible for these atrocities - please do so by joining this Facebook group.
While I'm not naive enough to believe that a Facebook page can have the geopolitical influence necessary to change the course of current events, it'd still be nice to know that humanity's moral nerve endings aren't completely numb.
